I have decided to go in a different direction with my large fish tank, all other monster fish have been sold except my pride and joy. I've grown this fish since he was a fry. He is basically a water puppy. Loves attention and will watch you from across the room. 1 of a kind personality. He will even eat out of your hands. He also just happenes to be a HIGH GOLD Cichla ocellaris (relatively rare prior to his gold phase showing) peacock bass cichlid that is about 20-24 inches. It's hard to get accurate measurements because when I pull out the measuring tape he gets active.
