Seeking independent contractor for twice-weekly litter cleanup in Takoma Park, Md. Set your own hours. The time commitment will vary depending on the amount of litter that accumulates at the site. On average, you can expect each cleanup to take approximately six hours. ("Average" means that each cleanup will sometimes take longer than six hours.) Contract will run through June 30 with extension dependent on satisfactory performance and client's renewal of primary contract. Compensation: $155 for each cleanup ($310 per week) to be paid on monthly basis by check. Requirements: ► 100% reliable and available to complete cleanups twice weekly. ► attention to detail ► ability to work outdoors on a regular schedule regardless of weather ► ability to walk long distances ► provide own tools/equipment ► capacity to text time- and date-stamped photos to primary contractor after each cleanup. ► U.S. citizen, permanent resident (green-card holder), or otherwise legally authorized to work in the United States ► two work-related references ► vaccinated and boosted for covid-19 PLEASE NOTE: As an independent contractor, you will be 100% responsible for the twice-weekly litter cleanups. If, for any reason, you are unable to perform the cleanups according to the twice-weekly schedule, it will be your responsibility to arrange for another subcontractor to perform the cleanups according to agreed-upon standards, and you will be responsible for paying the other subcontractor.
