Hi! I’m a 30 something songwriter looking to start something new, seeking other folks who are into violent femmes, Jonathan Richman and other minimalist acts like that. Ideally I’m thinking, like, 3 part harmonies + femmes-style instrumentation … kinda CSNY or Eagles plus violent femmes energy, but maybe kinda poppy too? I think it’d be cool if everything was acoustic but electric bass is prob fine. I write lots of songs and gig as a solo artist (andrewrobertpalmer1.bandcamp.com) but looking to collab and gig as a band. It’s just more fun with more folks. I can sing play rhythm guitar and drums and kinda bass. I’m sort of a hack so don’t worry if you are too… just looking to get some like minded people together and try it out. Maybe some backyard summer sessions to start. Also - I’m married and work full time so this would be a serious project but also very casual and flexible. Righto! Thanks!
