AWI Management Corp. is seeking an experienced individual to maintain a community in Gridley, CA. Bilingual in English/Spanish is preferred and experience in general building maintenance and landscape is a plus. Position is full-time; 40 hours and pay is DOE ALL APPLICANTS MUST REFERENCE JOB# JG-2676 Requirements: • Valid CA Driver’s License • Reliable Transportation • Authorized to work in the United States Qualifications / Skills: • Good communication skills • Computer literate (Word, Excel, MSOutlook) • Ability to positively interact with the general public, tenants, vendors, and corporate staff • Strong organizational skills • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions • Ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines • Experience with subsidized housing (HUD, Tax Credit, or RD) helpful • General building maintenance skills (painting, cleaning, plumbing, electrical, carpentry) • General grounds keeping skills • Ability to manage emergency situations • Professionalism • Listening Responsibilities: • Maintain good public relations with residents and vendors • Assist with annual apartment inspections and identifying action items • Report violations of lease and house rules • Timely completion of maintenance request, work orders and ensure tenant’s maintenance needs are being met • Work with manager to schedule vendors and order necessary supplies • Perform preventative maintenance duties • Maintaining excellent curb appeal • Follow policies and procedures Benefits: • Paid Vacation and sick leave • Medical • 401k • 10 Holidays per year PLEASE REFERENCE JOB# JG-2676 in the subject line of your email, or on all correspondence so that we can be sure to forward your information to the correct Regional Manager.
