Description

The Victoria Clipper is a high-speed, passenger only catamaran ferry that runs daily service between Seattle, Washington and Victoria, British Columbia. We operate year-round, with a very busy peak season from April through October. We are located in downtown Seattle at Pier 69 on the waterfront. This is a full-time, year-round position with benefits. We are looking to fill the Evening Shift - Custodian/Dock Hand position to start immediately. A typical shift starts at 6pm and ends between 1am to 2am. Duties include: • Handling mooring lines • Receiving cargo and other shipments • Operating pallet jacks and electrical hoists to swing the luggage bins on/off the vessels • Preparing the passenger boarding area for loading and unloading operation • Cleaning of vessels and stocking of various onboard supplies • Cleaning of Ferry Terminal • Other tasks to help ensure the boats sail on time with all the supplies they need to provide our passengers with a First-Class service • Position is full time and must be available to work evening hours, including weekends and holidays Qualifications: • Must be able to lift 75 lbs. • Must have strong work ethic and be able to follow directions • Must be self-motivated • Must be able to work well with others, as well as alone Salary: $20/hour plus benefits (medical, dental, vision, 401k, transportation/parking stipend, PTO, travel benefits, and access to onsite gym. Company performs random drug testing. This is an evening position, with hours from 6:00 pm to approximately 1:00 am. The schedule is 32-40 hours per week.
