We provide full-service traffic control services as well as special event traffic & crowd logistics. We are looking for great drivers with initiative and a willingness to learn to fill Traffic Control Technician positions in Spring, TX. Experience is a plus but not necessary – all training will be provided. SUMMARY The Traffic Control Technician is responsible for delivering and picking up material including moving, cleaning and storing materials, as well as assisting with delivering, installing, and manning traffic control activities (lane closures, construction barricade set-ups, special event logistics, etc.). Successful candidates will ensure that plans are followed correctly; work is completed accurately and on-time while following appropriate safety protocols; and that the customer is satisfied with the overall work product. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS · Understanding of customer needs and the ability to provide expertise on job set-up · Knowledgeable of traffic control requirements for lane closures · Provide outstanding customer service, including proper phone etiquette · Follow all safety policies, procedures, and protocols · Some overnight travel may be required QUALIFICATIONS · High School diploma or equivalent · Must be 23 years of age with a clear driving history · No major driving convictions in the last 5 years · Ability to maintain a valid driver’s license · No DUI in the last 5 years · Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds repetitively · Ability to work in an outdoor environment and walk long distances · Ability to work nights, weekends, and varying shifts · Communication skills & problem-solving skills Buyers Barricades offers competitive pay, overtime available, employer paid medical benefits, paid vacation, uniforms, and other great incentive programs.
