will help the Supervisor manage the work of a group of employees on performing cleaning functions in assigned areas following established schedules and prescribed methods. Ideal person should be dependable, reliable, detail-oriented, and have good communication skills. Inspects, coordinates, and records work performed by the group daily. Examines supply/utility closets for cleanliness, orderliness, and adequacy of supplies. Assures refuse and recycle disposal is done in a safe, sanitary manner. Evaluates quality of work being done in all areas and reports conditions to the Project Manager. Confers with management regarding employees' efficiency and conduct. Refers problems involving job discipline to supervisor for handling. Reports lax employees who are chronic offenders, inefficient, wasteful, or uncooperative. Introduces and demonstrates new equipment, cleaning methods, techniques, and procedures. Teaches cleaning methods and use of materials at lowest consumption to produce most effective results. Performs inventory inspection to determine consumption, waste, and estimated needs. Reports evaluation of methods, procedures, equipment and supplies to the Project Manager.
