Description
WEST HAVEN, CT — Bailey Middle School in West Haven is being dismissed early on Tuesday and students will remain on distance learning for the rest of the week due to a staffing shortage, according to officials.
"Quarantining staff based on being a close contact with an infected person has created a shortage of staff," officials wrote in a message to the school community. "At this time, we are unable to remain open to provide quality instruction. With that being said, we will reevaluate on Friday and provide a plan for next week. We thank you for your continued support and patience during these uncertain times."
