MILFORD, CT — A West Haven woman is accused of leaving two children unattended in a car while she was shopping, Milford police said. On July 31, police responded to Costco at 1718 Boston Post Road on a report of two children left unattended in a vehicle, police said. Investigation led to the arrest of Antonia Hernandez, 39, of Dogburn Road, who is accused of leaving her two children in the car for approximately 20-30 minutes while she went shopping, police said. Hernandez is charged with two counts of leaving a child under 12 years-old unsupervised. She was given a court date of Sept. 8.
