Rehoming 3yr old German Shepherd

Needing to rehome our 3yr old GSD, Stormy. She is super sweet, affectionate, and protective of her people. Highly intelligent and always eager to please, she’s house/kennel trained, knows general commands (with the smarts to learn even more), and she walks well on and off a leash. This girl LOVES to play fetch and being included on family outings. She has accompanied us on boat rides and even enjoys swimming. She is excellent with children from toddlers to teenagers. That being said, Stormy needs a family who can give her plenty of attention as the ONLY fur-baby in the home. It’s possible that she may do well with another male dog so long as they are betas. (She had always gotten along well with my neutered male, who is incredibly laid back.) However, she has instigated altercations with fixed dogs of both sexes. We need to find her a new home before we vacate ours on the 20th of May. Quick info: -3yrs old in June -Fixed -UTD on all shots/Heart worm/flea/tick preventatives -No medical conditions -Will let you bathe her, brush her teeth/hair, check her ears and clip her nails without issue -Last veterinary visit was October 13, 2021 at Saint Francis Veterinary Clinic
