Responsibilities will include the overall maintenance of the apartment complex(es) and all
areas related to the day‐to‐day maintenance operations of the apartment community.
Essential duties include but are not limited to:
o Electrical, plumbing, carpentry, masonry and painting
o Repairing and treating structures such as showers, sinks, appliances,
doors/cabinets, walls and building exteriors
o Make ready units for new move‐ins
o Have a working knowledge of HVAC systems and be able to maintain and repair
o Responsible for 24-hour emergency maintenance on a rotating schedule
o Schedule and complete preventative maintenance program
o Coordinate special projects as directed
Other Job Requirements
o Maintenance Technician must maintain a professional and courteous manner with
residents, visitors, contractors and fellow employees.
o You must have the ability to follow oral and written instructions and be able to
maintain effective and cooperative working relationships.
o Complete maintenance and repair work orders in a timely fashion
Qualifications
o Previous experience in maintenance or other related fields
o Familiarity with hand-held tools and equipment
o Deadline and detail-oriented
o Ability to handle physical workload
