“Puppies purchased at lucasville (Georgetown)
Bought a Yorkie poo at trade days from an old couple selling them out of the back of their truck on Saturday took to the vet Monday morning and she has parvo if you purchased a puppy at trade days please take to the vet asap mine was vaccinated and is fighting for her life”
My question is… are you surprised? The rule of supply and demand state that if there is no demand, the supply will stop. People like this will stop creating puppies if people like you would stop buying them. You just created another open spot for those people to make a new puppy with parvo and the cycle never ends and you had a hand in creating the next generation. You would have spent less money in the end getting a puppy from a reputable breeder that does health testing and proper care practices for their breeding program so the puppies would live much longer healthy and happy lives and with less heartache for you.
TLDR: If people would stop buying the poorly bred and poorly cared for puppies out of the back of a truck, they would stop making them.
