WEST HAVEN, CT — With the weather getting colder, West Haven police are urging residents to "secure" their vehicles after seeing an increase in vehicles being stolen while they were left running or warming up in driveways. "Having the 'key fob' in your possession does not always prevent an individual from entering your car and driving away with it," police wrote in a post on Facebook. "Please keep this in mind when warming your cars and keep your vehicle secured at all times."
