Press release from the City of Quincy: November 30, 2020 This Saturday, December 5th, 2020 is the final Saturday of the year that the DPW rear yard will be open. Saturday service will resume in March 2021. The DPW yard will remain open Monday thru Friday year-round (weather permitting) from 7:30 AM to 3:00 PM. A Driver's License with a Quincy address is required. The following materials are accepted at the DPW yard: Yard waste, Single stream recycling, Electronics, Appliances, Scrap metal, Books, DVDs, CDs and Mercury containing devices such as Thermometers, Thermostats, Rechargeable batteries and Fluorescent light bulbs.
