As a Tank Installer for Transportation Services Unlimited, you will be responsible for installing and repairing tanks at our customer locations, which requires pipefitting experience. A mechanical background is a plus. Responsible for installing tanks and containments throughout the state of Florida at various customer locations according to the company standard operating procedure. Stack concrete blocks inside poly containment and position tanks onto these concrete blocks. The tanks range from 500 – 2000 gallons and are positioned with the assistance of a crane and/or second person. Responsible for tank repairs such as valve repair, containment repair, and repairing of leaks. Ensure tanks and containments are installed according to code and labeled appropriately. Responsible for installing tanks and containments throughout the state of Florida at various customer locations according to the company standard operating procedure. Responsible for the inventory and ordering of all PVC parts, tanks, containments. Responsible for filling out install paperwork and turning it in at the end of each installation. Responsible for the cleanliness and orderliness of the install truck, crane/parts storage area, including picking up debris, organizing parts, pipe, and supplies. Responsible for proper and safe operation of the install truck and crane. Qualifications: As a Tank Installer, you must provide prompt and professional service to our customers and maintain rigorous attention to safety. You must also be a team player and comfortable with a flexible schedule, as you will often work weekends and some holidays. Specific qualifications for the Tank Installer position include: Class A or B CDL license Hazmat endorsement Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience, plus pipefitting experience Thorough familiarity with DOT and state regulations Ability to handle physical workload Strong work ethic Benefits Transportation Services Unlimited offers our Tank Installers a competitive compensation package.
