Junk Removal Team Members carry out the most important tasks for Haul Brothers. They are the face of the organization to our customers. Team Members are expected to arrive on job sites well-groomed, in uniform, and ready to work. The most important tasks for Junk Removal Team Members are to truly “WOW” the customer and ensure they do not damage property. Impressing the customer means going above and beyond the call of duty, working with enthusiasm, tidying up the work area at the conclusion of the job, and working quickly. You will start out as a Navigator. The Navigator assists the Team Leader in completing checklists, invoicing jobs, and loading the truck. Once a Navigator can safely drive a truck, quote jobs, and complete all “paperwork” correctly, he or she can be promoted to Team Leader. There is an immediate $1/hour raise upon promotion. Truck team members who quote extremely accurately, safely drive our vehicles, and “WOW” customers will be given raises accordingly. Several of our Team Leaders make $14-$16 an hour. Additional perks for truck team members include the opportunity to keep certain items (if the customer does not expect them to be donated and it does not cost the company any money) and customer tips. Truck team members who go not only the extra mile, but the extra ten miles, are often rewarded with $100 or more in tips each pay period. Some of our truck team members have furnished their apartments, created home gyms, or just acquired neat knick knacks on the job. This is an excellent job for college students. In just two or three days you can get a significant number of hours, so you can earn good money while maintaining a full-time class schedule. You can adjust your summer hours to fit your needs as well. Haul Brothers expects team members who arrive at work on time (often 6:30 or 7 am) and work hard until the day is done (often until 7 or 8 pm). Team members are expected to work in all kinds of adverse conditions, including extreme heat and cold, rain, dust, dirt, and more. Team members should have the determination to push through difficult jobs and days, which will occur from time to time. Team members should respond to challenges with "how will we get this done?" instead of "there is no way we can do this.” If hard work does not scare you away, please reply with your resume. We look forward to seeing your application. REQUIREMENTS • Customer Service: Treat every customer with exceptional service, communication and attitude. • Sales: Onsite selling. Educate clients about pricing and services and the benefit to them prior to giving an estimate and ensuring a positive experience. Be able to confidently price jobs. • Truck Operations: Safely operate the Haul Brothers trucks at all times. Make sure daily inspections are performed. • Junk Removal: Heavy lifting and removal of junk (i.e. household items, appliances, yard waste, etc.) from business, and, residential sites. • Marketing and Brand: Working to build and maintain Haul Brothers' brand and image. Ensure that there are enough materials on the truck for marketing drop-offs. • Time Management: Be able to make logistical decisions within the provided daily schedule (when to dispose, how to best complete a job, how to market during downtimes). • Teamwork: Working in teams every day to complete the task at hand. QUALIFICATIONS • Strong customer service/people skills. • Management/Leadership experience a plus. • Must be able to problem-solve on the job. • Excellent communication skills. • Ability to lift 75 lbs. • Drivers must hold a valid driver's license and have a clean driving record (CDL not required). • Preference for working in a fast-paced and fun environment. • Ability to work without direct supervision.
