"Equity, diversity, and inclusion" have been the core values of progressive Democrats. So, with the fact that Elon Musk bought Twitter, one would think this would be celebrated by many on the Left. I mean, after all, Elon is an immigrant from Africa who received an Ivy League education and became a business owner. Now he leads one of the world's largest social media and tech companies, which should be the symbolic "dream" for Democrats and liberals. This is a true 'American Dream' story !!!! Surprisingly, many Democrats have demonstrated a disturbing lack of enthusiasm for Musk's success. Why are so many Democrats afraid of an African immigrant owning Twitter? Hardly anybody on the Left seems happy about the African immigrant's Twitter purchase. Furthermore, many have claimed they would be leaving the platform in protest because they object to Musk's promise of allowing FREE SPEECH. This is very odd behavior that should be exposed for its bigotry. After saying they want to 'protect our democracy', Democrats are now protesting FREE SPEECH, one of Democracy's most precious values. Consider the temper tantrum by former Vermont governor and Democratic National Committee Chairman Howard Dean. In a recent tweet, Dean said, "Hi Twitterverse. Many thanks for the knowledge and sharing over the past ten years or so. If Musk takes over Twitter I will be off within a few hours." Why do Democrats have so much HATE for this African immigrant and his success ?? Why do they hate free speech? Many have said the purchase of Twitter by someone who values FREE SPEECH, could be the end of the Democratic party. This tells you all you need to know.
