A Prince George's County MD native, Joey tells his unique mental health journey through the lens of his improv and theater background. Stick around for our Open Mic just a few minutes after the show! Angel Penn will be your host for the open mic where YOU can try your hand at standup or watch some of the DMV's best practice their craft. Angel has been a staple in the comedy community shepherding new and veteran comics alike in the art form known as standup. He's performed at the DC Improv, State Theatre, and opened-ish for Todd Glass. It's a friendly room and environment to get your feet wet or practice that new joke that's been burning a hole in your brain. Buying a ticket gets you first dibs on signing up for the show or you can wait to sign up outside of the show room, but spots are limited. You'll get 5 minutes to impress your friends and maybe if you do well enough you'll be on the main show one day! The open mic starts at 945, signup on site will be at 930 every week!
