NorthEast Talent Solutions is interviewing candidates to work with our client in Rutherford, NJ. This is a temporary - permanent (90+ day probationary period) position working with our client, a well-established transportation company. Walk-ins Welcome Responsibilities Investigates and resolves high-value exceptions and potentially distressed shipments daily. Performs entire OS&D investigations and verifies/ follows up with all of the handling terminals and Regional Managers for investigation. Audits delivery receipts and works with management to correct deficiencies in procedures. Analyzes undelivered freight reports to resolve OS&D issues and clear freight. Identifies and reviews target accounts with multiple claims because of damage or loss. Performs investigations with the destination terminals to resolve and prevent claims. Communicates with terminal management in identifying and correcting noncompliance in OS&D procedures resulting in claims or delays in delivery of freight. Assistance in resolving misdelivered shipments and issues. Oversees overages for timely processing. Answers OS&D questions for assigned group. Audits comply with policy and procedures. Performs other duties as required.
