Roz "The Diva" will be teaching you Fitness Fundamentals that will help increase your knowledge, skills, and confidence in fitness.
Fitness Fundamentals
Set yourself up for gym glory with a course in classic movements every athlete can master: squats, lunges, planks & push-ups, and pulling. And twerking. Learn what these movements are, what muscles they use, and how they’ll help you kick ass in real life. (Optional equipment needed: a bench or chair.)
Non traditional athletes encouraged to attend:
Plus size athletes
LGBTQIA+ athletes
Athletes with disabilities
Athletes working through fitness anxiety and body dysmorphia
Schedule:2:00-2:30pm : Starting a Career in Fitness (please register for this class separately)
2:45-3:00pm : Break ** In person participants can mingle in the lobby of Asecendance or visit Boon Boona next door for coffee and/or a snack.
3:00-3:30pm : Fitness Fundamentals
