Looking to adopt small & young dog for my son.

Hello! My name is Allie!! My son is going to be 4 soon and he has been asking for a dog for quite some time. He is an only child and has an absolute love for dogs. Our current living situation per my landlord states we can only have small dogs no bigger than 20 lbs. I am an animal lover myself and have always owned larger breeds of dogs as has my husband so we are ready to take on another small addition to our family!! We have a fenced in yard as well as ample space for play and relaxation!! Unfortunately I am not in the market to pay $300-$900, I will have no problem paying a rehoming fee which is expected.
