Free event! Take a party bus round trip from Columbus to Sandusky to rally for Dewitt McDonald's release! Breakfast, lunch, coffee, mimosas. We are chartering a party bus to take people roundtrip from Columbus to Sandusky, OH for a protest rally that we are hosting to advocate for the release of Dewitt McDonald, Jr. Breakfast burritos, coffee and mimosas will be provided on the bus, and lunch will be served at the event. Dewitt McDonald, Jr. has been wrongly incarcerated for 27 years. In March 2022, a judge ordered his immediate release. The Ohio Attorney General’s office filed an emergency stay order to block his release, and he remains unjustly incarcerated. We are organizing this action to insist that the Attorney General and the Erie County Prosecutor remove the emergency stay and allow Dewitt McDonald, Jr. to be released per the judge’s order.
