Join us for a day-long workshop with TSC Favorite Matthew Wright, In-Person at Trinity Spiritual Center and Livestreamed via Zoom. We'll explore the early Christian Wisdom Gospels of Thomas, Mary Magdalene, and Philip, and their implications for our contemplative practice. These texts came to light in the mid-20th century. They provide new insight into the development of early Christianity, the metaphysics undergirding Jesus’ teaching, and the apostolic authority of Mary Magdalene. Taken together, they offer a map of the human journey from timelessness into time, and finally into conscious union—a journey that unfolds within what Jesus calls “the bridal chamber” of the heart. The workshop is open to all; prior participation in TSC's conversations with Matthew Wright is not required. Lunch is included for those attending in person. For those participating by Zoom, the day will be broken into three 90-minute sessions beginning at 9:00, 10:45 and 1:00.
