Together, We WIN! Wealth In Numbers for BIPOC business owners, entrepreneurs, and wealth developers. Together, we WIN. For BIPOC in northern Colorado, there is Wealth In Numbers. The BIPOC Alliance presents WIN: Wealth In Numbers. All individuals who identify as Black, Indigenous, or Person of Color are invited. Join us to: Celebrate BIPOC wealthMeet and connect with other BIPOC businesses and entrepreneurs Empower local BIPOC talent to share their wealth of knowledge Obtain the support needed to enable our community to flourish Build strong local networks to continue to grow and thriveAnd, of course, to enjoy a free drink and light snacks! The WIN program will bridge the financial wealth gap among BIPOC by utilizing the strengths that already exist within our local BIPOC community to educate, uplift, and support people of color in our area. Currently, the net wealth of a typical Black family in America is around one-tenth that of a white family, revealing that no progress has been made in over 70 years. The BIPOC Alliance activated the extensive community connections of its members to incorporate and honor diverse experiences and identity intersections where we can be stronger and more successful through collaboration because -- Together, We WIN. We believe that closing the financial wealth gap is a key aspect of attaining liberation from systemic inequities. WIN also includes scholarship line items to allow members to apply for an impact-oriented funding stream, as well as a Grass-Root Grant to financially support start-up costs awarded to a group voted “Entrepreneur’s Project”.
