Description
Press release from the Town of Plymouth:
November 10, 2020
The Town of Plymouth's Department of Public Works seeks to advise the public that the "Cordage Walking Path" connecting Loring Boulevard to Hedge Road will be temporarily closed during the installation of a new sewer interceptor line serving that area.
During the installation of the new sewer interceptor, the Town will implement a detour plan to temporarily divert pedestrian traffic and bicyclists traveling between the Cordage Walking Path and the Seaside/North Plymouth "Rail Trail" via Loring Boulevard, Court Street, and Hedge Road.
Signage will be deployed at both entrances to the Cordage Walking Path, alerting pedestrian and cyclists of the temporary closure. Additional signage will be placed along Loring Boulevard, Court Street, and Hedge Road, to guide pedestrians around the detoured area.
The file, below, contains additional information and a map of the detour route.
The Town appreciates the community's patience and support during this important sewer infrastructure improvement project. For any further questions, please contact the DPW's Sewer Division at (508) 830-4159, extension 212, during normal business hours.
