I’m Sam Obrist, a singer-songwriter and recording artist offering guitar lessons for all ages and skill levels. I have studied guitar under multiple teachers before becoming self-taught. I also write music of my own, sing covers of a variety of songs, perform around the city, and study the techniques behind multiple genres. These accolades allow me to teach in an adaptive style that is flexible to meet my students' musical curiosities and interests so that they can develop their own style of playing and truly stand out as unique musical artists. Additionally, my first lesson is free so that you can be sure I am the teacher you're looking for. I can teach virtually, in your home within city limits, at a park, or in my apartment in Soho.
