The Biohazard Remediation Specialist: Summary: Working (4) 12 hour shifts 7pm-7am you will remediate biohazard such as blood, bodily fluids, feces, urine and vomit in difficult environments including crimes scenes, suicide scenes, police stations, jails, police vehicles, medical transport vehicles, and others. You will be paid hourly during training and after that you will earn a per call commission. Technicians working full time generally earn more than $1000.00 per week paid weekly. After training and observation period we will pay for you take classes and receive accreditation. Full time technicians are generally provided a take home company loaner vehicle, part time technicians can expect to drive their own vehicle to work then use a daily pool vehicle. All approved expenses are reimbursed, and the company provides all equipment including safety equipment each take home vehicle comes with a gas card. Job Duties: Clean up after situations like suicides, homicides, unattended deaths, accidents, floods, feces, urine and vomit. Technician may also pick up medical waste at medical facilities. Light demolition be involved in some jobs. Inventory management. Assist with maintenance of facility and truck. File written documentation of each job completed. Job Requirements: **Ability to deal with stressful environments, manage risks, and have an iron stomach.** At least 18 years of age or older. Must have a valid Driver's License and acceptable Motor Vehicle Record. Must reside locally and be able to respond to the dispatch office within a reasonable time after receiving a service call. Must be available (on call) 12 hours a day, 5 days a week. Ability to lift up to 50lbs and don required PPE. High School Diploma or GED preferred. Prior experience that demonstrates a strong work ethic and ability to multi-task. Capable of detailed written communication, and proficiency with official Documents. Certified TCST, OCT (We can help you get certified.) Applicants may not have felony convictions because the job requires special access to law enforcement facilities.
