Join us for our bi-monthly Sherlock's Home Mystery Book Club. This month, we're reading CLARK AND DIVISION by Naomi Hirahara.
Please join us for the Miller Room's new bi-monthly mystery book club for adults! We'll be reading a rotating selection of fiction and non-fiction books and short stories for fans of mystery (cozy, creepy, or classic), as well as hard-boiled detective fiction, spy espionage, thrillers, true-crime tales, and more.
Our next Sherlock's Home Mystery Book Club meeting will take place on Tuesday, May 24, from 5:30 - 7PM. This month we'll be reading the New York Times Best Mystery of 2021, Clark and Division by Naomi Hirahara. "Set in 1944 Chicago, Edgar Award-winner Naomi Hirahara’s eye-opening and poignant new mystery, the story of a young woman searching for the truth about her revered older sister's death, brings to focus the struggles of one Japanese American family released from mass incarceration at Manzanar during World War II." (Soho Crime Publishers)
This meeting will take place in the Miller Special Collections Room (on the 1st floor of the Billie Jean King Main Library) and will have limited seating (maximum of 10-12 people per meeting), so registration is required to attend.
Can't make the event? Please still sign up if you'd like to be added to the book club's email list for advance notice of future meetings & readings.
