Interested in watercolor painting? Come join my one day workshop to discover the very basics to get you started right away! Welcome artists! I've designed this 2-hour beginner workshop to be a casual exploration into the mysterious wonders of watercolor painting. Together we'll learn about various types of brushes essential for a beginner's kit, and how to use them. We will also unlock the secrets to some basic painting techniques that we'll practice together-- as well as work on some fun exercises to really let your inner artist play! My goal is to help you discover what you can do with watercolor and get you started painting right away! This class is ideal for any beginner artist from 8 yrs old to adult. I highly encourage this class to artists who are interested in travel sketching, urban sketching and art journaling - all of which are passions of mine. Your enrollment also comes with a custom designed beginner's kit! The kit includes a handmade sketchbook, brushes, and watercolor set (but also feel free to bring along your own favorite supplies to class as well). Please arrive 5 minutes early to allow you time for set up. Class will begin on time. Refunds are available 1 day prior to class. Sorry, no exceptions.
