Join DGC Sprouts, our new garden club for children and families, as we plant our vegetable & flower gardens at St. John Learning Garden Are you ready to learn how to grow and care for a vegetable garden? Do you love flowers and want to start them on their way to blooming? Do you want to get your hands dirty? We hope so! Be sure to join in the fun as we start the DGC Sprout growing season with this planting event. We will be adding seeds and small plants at the St. John Learning Garden, and watering if needed. Please bring along garden tools and gloves if you have them; come prepared to toil in the soil. We will end the evening with a pizza party so that we can get to know each other. Pizza, milk, juice or soda are included. You will also go home with plants and seeds to start your very own home gardens: A Pizza Garden and a Pollinator (Friendship and Love) Garden. NOTE: All children must be accompanied by an adult guardian. Registration is required to attend the planting day. Please reserve one ticket/person that will be attending & eating so that we can plan for the pizza and the seedling, plant, and seed giveaways. Tickets are not required for children under the age of 2. Reach out to the organizer if you have questions. We will use Eventbrite emails to send reminders so be sure to allow notification from this organizer when you reserve your ticket. DGC Sprout membership is highly recommended prior to the event.
