We will kick off the 4 week event series with 4 CCL speakers presenting a panel discussion followed by time for Q&A at The Wild Detectives.
CCL will be hosting a panel discussion with four presenters including Glenn Suhren, a retired engineer, Breanna Cooke, an artist, Lauren Juarez, CCL DFW group leader, and Ania Henderson, a marine biologist and educator. The evening will begin with a short presentation by Javier, the owner of the Wild Detectives, as well as Melissa Rose Heer, a member of CCL and the founder of this event series! Each following presentor will speak for about 10 min, with Q&A time immediately following the presentation.
Coffee, wine and beer are available for purchase at The Wild Detectives, an amazing bookstore/bar nesteled in the heart of Bishop Arts. With a sprawling outdoor seating area and stage, this venue provides a relaxed invironment that has become a mecca for intellectual gatherings and collaborative events.
The discussion will cover a range of topics surrounding environmental issues and how individuals can make changes that will positively impact this beautiful planet. After the presentation, we will open up the discussion for Q&A. This is a great way to learn more about environmental initiatives and to connect with others who share a passion for climate activism.
