Great American Furniture Warehouse is excited to offer the opportunity to join our delivery team! We are a local and family owned company who has been selling furniture in Bend and Redmond for over 40 years. This position is based in Bend and is full time (40 hours per week). Work days are Tuesday through Saturday (Sunday & Monday off). Work hours are 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Pay starts at $18.00 per hour and increases to $20.00 per hour upon passing a performance evaluation at 90 days. Delivery days will involve loading our delivery truck, driving our delivery truck to customer's homes and bringing furniture into customer homes. About half of the items we sell will also require some level of assembly. We send 2 people on the delivery truck every day, so this will always be performed with a partner. Driving duties are also shared. Some days will require working in our warehouse unloading freight trucks, moving furniture, lifting, stacking, transferring inventory between warehouse locations, driving a box truck and assembling furniture. Requirements: - Valid driver's license (CDL is not required) - Clean driving record - Able to pass background check - Able to pass drug testing - Professional appearance - Great personality and customer service - Able to lift and carry furniture (100 lbs solo or 200 lbs with a partner) - Ability to use basic tools, read directions and assemble furniture - Experience driving larger vehicles or delivery trucks is preferred Pay: $18.00 per hour and $20.00 per hour after 90 days. Paid training included. Additional benefits: Employee discount after 90 days and 401k after 1 year. Days/Hours: Tuesday - Saturday (Sunday & Monday off), 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
