Please join us to celebrate the graduation of Harmony Science Academy-Carrollton's Class of 2022 on Saturday, May 21, 2022, at 11:00 A.M. Doors will open between 10-10:20 A.M. We are proud to introduce our keynote speaker, Mrs. Terri Carmichael Jackson, Executive Director of the Women's National Basketball Association Player's Association. Mrs. Jackson has built an impressive resume. She attended Georgetown University where she earned a degree in law. In August 1994, As a practicing attorney, she started helped create a girls' summer sports program in New Orleans, Louisiana, called the Back on the Block Foundation. This passion translated into her main career path when she began to pursue Title IX cases and taught a "Women in Sports" course at Tulane University in 1999. Shortly after this, she accepted a position as lead counsel for athletics at the University of the District of Columbia and began the main trajectory of her present career course. Since then, she served for four years as the associate director for the NCAA's office of the committees on infractions, eventually rising to the NCAA's director of law, policy and governance before accepting her current role with the WNBPA. We are beyond honored to have a speaker of her caliber coming to share this momentous occassion with us! Each graduate will have eight tickets for family and friends. These tickets can be transferred to other seniors if you are not using your full allotment (and we encourage this so everyone who wants to attend may). Your tickets will be saved in this app, so please create an account. You will be required to show your QR code at the door to gain entrance. We have a limited number of seats for this event, so it is critical that you do not bring more guests than you have tickets. We will not be able to accommodate extra guests.
