Do you Need a Boost Getting on Your Bike This Season?
Join us for a FREE 2-hour on-bike clinic in Dover to help prepare you to get rolling!
Geared toward cyclists who are hesitant to ride with cars -- casual cyclists and people rediscovering cycling, even seasoned cyclists will find something to learn from this clinic led by a League of American Bicyclists-certified Bicycling Instructor.
The clinic will start with a review of good biking habits and practicing bike handling skills on a "closed course" (parking lot), where instructors will review the rules of the road. Then participants will be led on a short ride (2-4 mi) to practice riding on downtown streets.
The clinic is limited to 12 participants; adults and teens 14+ with a parent or guardian are encouraged to attend. At least five registrants are required for course to take place, invite a friend!
Participants must already know how to ride a bike, bikes must be in good working order (air in tires, brakes and chain reliable); helmets are REQUIRED for the clinic.
If it's clear, or just sprinkling - we ride! If Tstorms or steady rain: Rain date will be May 19, same place and time!
For a primer, check out "How We Roll" and "It's The Law" at: http://www.seacoastbikes.org/
Recommended: bright clothing, stand on (not "clip-in") pedals, front and read lights/reflectors, and a great attitude!
Pre-registration is required - register today!
