Description
PLYMOUTH, MA — A former Plymouth resident who was reported missing after asking Maynard police for directions back to the town has been found safe.
Maynard police said Tuesday morning that Betty Thorndike will soon be reunited with her family, and thanked the public for their assistance in helping search for her.
Maynard Police Chief Michael Noble said on Monday that Thorndike was last seen on Saturday afternoon when she asked an officer in the town for directions to an address in Plymouth. When the officer later checked to confirm her arrival, the officer was told she had not done so.
Police said Thorndike recently moved from Plymouth to Maynard.
