Home in South Shore. Two projects: 1) Looking to improve structural support in basement. Would involve replacing joist and installing permanent support column and removing temporary support posts. 2) Removal of chimney from house. Chimney is only used to vent the boiler to the outside. Chimney has no fireplace and runs through the center of the first floor living room. Would need to remove chimney from attic to basement, have joist that spans through entire first floor, drywall/plaster/paint where necessary. Would need to potentially vent the boiler out to the side of the house, although plan is to install new HVAC as well so that may not ultimately be necessary. Must have references and insurance. There will be other projects down the road so if these two go well, I'd love to find a partner that can help me for additional work.
