Widows/Widowers Unite Event Group We had a great turnout for our very first event this past Saturday at a luncheon at the St John's River Grille. There were smiles and good conversation and good food with a beautiful sunny day and scenery of our beautiful St John's River. We are already in preparation for our May event which is just two weeks away and would love to have any Widows or Widowers come join us, meet some new people and do on-going fun things together. We are doing the theatre on this go around and already have our seats blocked out for us! Once per month we will be gathering and doing a different activity and it's a great way for us widows/widowers to get back out there with people that understand what it is like and what we go thru after the loss of a spouse. This is not a support group or dating venue but an "in person event group" in Volusia county. If you would like to join us, please text/ call me with your name, cell #, city that you reside and the year that your spouse passed away. I will give you the groups email upon contact.
