A panel of legal experts, including Kyle Rittenhouse's defense attorney, will dissect the trial from several perspectives. The Westside Bar Association is proud to present our next Criminal Defense MCLE, 'Resolving Rittenhouse.' This event will focus on the monumental case, People vs. Kyle Rittenhouse. Mark Richards, lead defense attorney, will make his first public speaking appearance at this event and discuss the trial strategies and techniques that he and his team used to achieve an acquittal. Mr. Richards will be joined by jury consultant, Dr. Jo-Ellan Dimitrius, who assisted the Rittenhouse defense team throughout the trial. The panelists will discuss how they contended with the court of public opinion and the long-lasting lessons learned from the trial. To provide the opposing perspective, the panel will also be joined by Eric Siddal, a Los Angeles District Attorney Prosecutor and the Vice President of the Association of Los Angeles Deputy District Attorneys. Mr. Siddal is a regular on local news shows and will provide the prosecutorial perspective on Rittenhouse's trial. The evening will conclude with a Q&A with the panelists followed by a mixer at the Waldorf Astoria.
