Preservation Durham's annual historic home tour! Tickets are good for BOTH days. The theme of this year’s tour will celebrate excellence in restoring, rehabilitating, and adapting historic homes in Durham. Our tour is designed to recognize the best private preservation projects undertaken by owners and families– to hold them up as examples of how saving and adapting an historic house enriches not only the lives of the people who live in them, but their neighborhoods, and all of Durham as well. We hope to stimulate your imaginations with the possibilities that preservation offers through the gracious homeowners who invested in historic preservation, and who have allowed us to exhibit their homes to the wider community. Additionally, we want to recognize and showcase the work of the architects, designers, contractors, and craftspeople who do excellent preservation work.
