A Night to EmpowHER is a powerful speaking exhibition featuring five people supporting three Women-Led Organizations local to Kansas City. A Night to EmpowHER is a powerful speaking exhibition. Five people sharing their moving stories, this exhibition examines the strength that we have to rise and empowHER. Ticket proceeds benefit three of Kansas City's own Women-Led Organizations: Safe In Harm's Way- With a mission to change the world of those who are recovering from domestic violence. It’s born of an instinct to right wrongs and create an ever-expanding web of goodness. Giving Hope & Help- Supports domestic violence survivors, provides essential resources to end period poverty, empowers college bound and non-traditional students and inspires cancer patients, lifting all those we serve to live their best life. From The Green Desk- Comforts and validates women who are suffering as a result of abortion, child, infant, or pregnancy loss. Through peer-to-peer services, we will eliminate the ‘silent scream’ stigma associated with these losses.
