IN PERSON: "Person Centered Care: Addressing Behaviors in a Culture Change Environment" Presenter: Crystal Plank, BSN, RN, RAC-CT Understanding our challenging behaviors in our nursing home environment is a growing area of concern. As our culture changes within our homes, so does the care that we provide to our residents. This presentation will include resident’s unmet needs, common behavior problems and what we can do to as we focus on person-center care in our changing LTC environment. We will also discuss how to document person-centered behaviors and the responsiveness of the resident in the progress notes and care plans.
