Here are the top three stories today in Charleston: Downtown Charleston, West Ashley, and James Island residents will be on a one-day trash pickup delay due to a recent increase in trash levels. Trash is different than garbage. Trash is twigs, leaves, grass clippings, tree limbs, and construction materials. Trash is picked up in brown paper bags while garbage is collected in the green bins. (ABC NEWS 4)A newly promoted principal has been placed on administrative leave pending an investigation. The school district claims that the investigation surrounding Carolyn Anderson is about a personnel issue. She has been with the district since 1989. (Live 5 News WCSC)Michael Bublé will be performing at the North Charleston Coliseum on Aug. 14. Tickets will go on sale for the performance May 6 at the North Charleston Coliseum Advance Ticket Office. His Charleston show is part of a national tour stopping at 27 different cities.
