Join us for an evening of craft beer, delicious food, and music to benefit 412 Food Rescue! Join us for an evening of craft beer, delicious food, and music to celebrate the collaboration between Helltown Brewing, Helping Hops, and 412 Food Rescue! The team has created a hazy IPA called 412 Food Rescue Brew to benefit 412 Food Rescue's mission to end food waste and hunger in our region. Along with the featured brew, we will have a few other Helltown beers to sample with starters by 412 Food Rescue's Good Food Project and delicious features from Sprezzatura.  Byron Nash will be providing entertainment. Guests will receive a commemorative tasting glass.  About 412 Food Rescue: 412 Food Rescue was founded in 2015 as a direct response to the disconnect between the almost 40% of food that is wasted and the 1 and 8 US households that are food insecure. Food waste is also the single largest component in municipal landfills and one of the leading causes of greenhouse gas emissions. Our mission is to prevent perfectly good food from entering the waste stream by redirecting it to community organizations serving those who are in poverty and experiencing food insecurity. The Good Food Project, a program of 412 Food Rescue and one of the world's first zero-waste kitchens, launched in 2019 as an extension of our mission to reduce food waste and address hunger. The program creates over 700 healthy heat-and-eat meals from surplus food each week to serve our neighbors in need.Good food belongs to people, not landfills. About Helping Hops: Helping Hops is a 501(c)3 volunteer based nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting social and environmental sustainability among our local craft brewers, their industry supply chain, and their consumers. Helping Hops facilitates and maximizes fundraising for local charitable causes by mobilizing the passion and generosity of the craft beer community.
