Garden Nest Residential Landscape, an award-winning design build company located in Orinda is currently seeking an experienced Landscape Maintenance Field Assistant. Join our crew of experienced gardeners and management team with opportunities for advancement and growth. Responsibilities: • Executing general maintenance, to include irrigation repair, mowing, raking, • Hedging, fertilizing, planting, mulching and general landscape duties as directed. • Follow safety policies and procedures • Understanding and complying with company quality standards and client’s needs and • Expectations. • Independent Worker, able to work alone or with little supervision • Reliable, punctual and trustworthy Basic Qualifications: • Valid driver’s license and proof of a clean driving record • Landscape horticulture or construction experience or related education • Must be able to lift 50 lbs. unassisted • Bilingual (Spanish) a plus Eligibility Requirements: • 1-3 years landscape field experience and or horticulture education/background • Knowledge and experience maintaining small engines, landscape tools and machinery • 1-2 years experience repairing and maintaining irrigation systems and low-voltage lighting systems a plus • 1-2 years landscape construction experience a plus What We Offer: • Competitive salaries, based on experience • Opportunity to advance • Educational reimbursement
