songwriter looking for acoustic musicians for chamber folk sound

Hey there, I'd like to play some more music with actual people again. :) I'm a composer and songwriter in the Mission, have played in a lot of projects over the years in the Bay Area, and really miss playing and arranging songs for a group. Let's see I like Joni Mitchell, Comus, Nina Simone, Pentangle, Decemberists, Beirut, the harmonies of Fleet Foxes, Nico, Cat Power, Marianne Faithfull, Leonard Cohen. I play guitar, piano, and uke. I'm open to whatever, because I like arranging for various instruments. ++ if you like to sing harmonies, that's one of my favorites. I say chamber folk, because I really like put a lot of detail in my arrangements and push past a lot of common pop chord progressions. If this sounds like fun, I usually just have people over at my place in the mission where my piano is and just have some fun playing music together, see if it's fun enough to get a regular practice together and see about playing some shows.
