Meditation is not about trying to "get rid of your thoughts" Have you tried that? Has that ever worked? I will share what has worked for me Meditation is not about trying to "get rid of your thoughts" Have you tried that? Has that ever worked? If so, please tell me because for someone like me who has/had what some refer to as "monkey mind" or "busy mind", that method just didn't work for me. I thought I was an impossible case, that there's NO-WAY I could ever meditate and it just wasn't for me. Well, I'm here to tell you, if I can do it, I think you can too.. but that's up to you! If you're interesting in learning some insightful information about meditation and willing to give it a try, please join me for this experience. There are many different techniques, methods and ways of meditating. I will share some tips and what has helped me. This meditation will be a mix of guided visualization and music. Total Length of Meditation: approx. 20-30 min. It is with great joy to share my experience of mediation with you. WHAT TO BRING & PREPARE: * If you have any Covid symptoms , are not feeling well or have been exposed to someone with Covid within 2 weeks or less, please stay home! *We'll be taking your temperature upon entry. - To get the most out of your experience, I recommend avoiding caffeine at least 4 hours prior to meditation. Eat light and hydrate. - Bring a mat, blanket, pillow, anything you need to make yourself comfortable (we have chairs if you prefer) - Water - Eye mask (optional) - Journal and something to write with (optional) DIRECTIONS: (GPS correction!) W. Apple St., is one way. You cannot enter from Shenandoah Rd. If you're coming from the South on Shenandoah Rd., pass Apple St. and make a Left onto W. Main St., make your next left onto W. Apple St. at the bend (1/4mi). Shoppe will be on your right next to 'Apple Street Deli. If you're coming from the East on W. Main St., pass Shenandoah Rd on your left and follow directions as above Melanie (aka Melania Jay) is a certified Advanced ThetaHealing® Practitioner and Energy worker with over five years experience.
