Superior Self-Storage is a family-owned business serving the Ballard Fremont neighborhood for 40 years. We are looking for a part-time or full-time, high-quality, motivated, self-starter to fill Part-time a Facility Manager position to join our team. You will be responsible for the overall performance of the site which encompasses sales, day-to-day operations, site appearance, customer service, and the opportunity to find inefficiencies in the process and make improvements. You can expect the following: -Great hours: No early mornings or late nights -Schedule: Sat 9-6 Sunday 9-5 to Noon-1pm off -Generous holiday schedule. See our website -12pm-1pm we are closed for lunch and running errands -Competitive Hourly Pay + Overtime -Flexible work environment -We trust our staff, so you will get the autonomy to get the job done The ideal candidate should: -Be customer service minded -Have an attention to detail -Be a good problem solver Duties and Responsibilities: -Interact with existing and prospective tenants with enthusiasm and courtesy. -Provide exceptional service to all individuals who call, text or visit the storage facility. -Treat customers and co-workers with respect. -Show units to prospective tenants and help them determine which size unit they need to rent. Quote rents for units shown. -Rent storage units according to company policy. -Days will consist of a mix of both office work as well as property upkeep -Maintain facility cleanliness and curb appeal using the provided tools; sweeping, dusting, mopping, wiping down unit doors and windows, and picking up trash -Conduct daily physical storage unit inspections and security checks; confirm inventory availability and ensure spaces are secure and/or ready to rent. -Make customer calls regarding their account, collections, and other items; document notes on the management software. -Track contract and banking errors at the facility. Report errors to Senior Manager. -Answer questions and provide training on operational issues as needed. Qualifications: -Strong verbal and written communication skills -Be able to carry, bend, stoop, push, and lift up to 50 pounds -Experience towing boats and RVs to be able to move them throughout the yard on forklift -Be able to work independently and with other team members -Display a professional appearance -Minimum (1) year in retail/customer service/sales experience -Superb punctuality and organizational skills -Ability to prioritize and multi-task -Have computer literacy, be able to use the internet and company software -High School Diploma or equivalent -Weekend availability is required -No criminal/arrest record -Current valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to and from work -Submit to a background check -Experience in property management or self-storage a bonus How to Apply: Please reply to this post with your resume and qualifications.
