In-depth QuickBooks knowledge for handling Payroll, and Accounts Receivable is an absolute must. Additionally, experience in construction bidding experience, a plus. RESPONSIBILITIES: A/R Prepare and send invoices, verify transaction information Create deposits for all checks to the appropriate bank accounts and process all other cash receipts (Credit Card, ACH) Follow up with the customers to collect payments Reconcile bank statements Follow procedures to adhere to internal controls and policies Prepare monthly Department of Revenue reports (B&O Excise Tax) Prepare annual W2 for employee Produce annual 1099s as required Prepare monthly Profit & Loss reports Payroll Run bi-weekly payroll in-house for 0-15 employees Gather, prepare and input payroll and employee benefit data. Ensure compliance with all applicable state and federal wage and hour laws. Activities include daily, monthly, quarterly, and yearly activities such as processing new hire additions, employee changes (income and deductions), terminations, resolving employee payroll issues and questions, and annual reporting. Maintain wage garnishments and payments to meet state and federal requirements, in addition to maintaining W-2 files and preparing annual reporting. Prepares weekly, monthly, quarterly and year-end reports (gross payroll, hours worked, vacation accrual, tax deductions, benefit deductions, etc.) for L & I, Employment Securities, FUTA, etc. Maintain current knowledge of applicable state and federal wage and hour laws. Customer Service Answering Phones Clean written and oral communication with customers & co-workers Qualifications: 1-2 years working with every aspect of QuickBooks 1-2 years experience in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel. (Required) Associate (Preferred) The right person for this position will also feel confident they have the ability to ensure security, integrity and confidentiality of information/data.
