Multi-instrumentalist seeking other musicians/collaborators

Description

Hello This all might be a long shot but.. I’m a 20-year-old non-binary musician who’s just recently moved to the Seattle area and I’m really hoping to start creating music with new people! I’m looking for people with open ears and open minds when it comes to creating and listening. I’ve become increasingly uninterested with genre adherence and stylistic limitations as I enjoy so much stuff and want it to all play into what music I create and put out there. All of that is to say there’s so much in terms of style and approach that I would love to play with ranging from electronic to post-rock to jazz to ambient to indie to noise to pop and so on and so forth. I play guitar, bass, drums, keys and I sing and do electronic programming on some hardware or whatever DAW I can get my hands on. I’ve got loads of random ideas and recordings that I can share so you could get a feel for what I create. I’ve played in bands, recorded on my own and done long electronic improvisations/abstractions so any sort of collaboration sounds extremely appealing to me and I would love to work with any type of artist! Also feels important to note I don’t have much formal experience when it comes to composing or performing but I have been playing for years and I’d like to think that I still have created some cool stuff regardless of that. If you wanna get a sense for the kind of music I listen to and enjoy exploring I’ve got a series of playlists on Spotify and Apple Music and a Discogs that I could link you to. Also here are some artists that I’ve seen live recently for a bit more context as well - Deerhoof, Digable Planets, Yo La Tengo, black midi, Injury Reserve, illuminati hotties, Fennesz, Thee Oh Sees, Spirit Of The Beehive, Squid, and Makaya McCraven with Jeff Parker, Joel Ross, Junius Paul and De’Sean Jones. I look forward to hearing from some of y’all!
