HOWARD COUNTY, MD — The Howard County Public School System has been recognized as one of the 2022 Best Communities for Music Education Districts by the National Association of Music Merchants Foundation. The award program recognizes outstanding efforts by teachers, administrators, parents, students and community leaders who have made music education part of a well-rounded education. Designations are made to districts and schools that demonstrate an exceptionally high commitment and access to music education. This is the seventh consecutive year HCPSS has received the award. HCPSS is one of only nine Maryland school districts and 738 districts across the United States being recognized with the award for 2022.
